About the Training Program
In the last two decades, the accelerating volume of data sources made data science one of the emerging and fastest-growing fields across the industry. It combines mathematics, statistics and computer science with specific subject matters that uncover the hidden patterns and information in scientific and organizational data. DST-CIMS was formed by active cooperation of mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics and computer science departments. Also, faculty members of these four streams work in the centre. This centre is a perfect place to organize workshops on data science. Keeping this vision in mind, we have planned to organize this workshop. Resource persons in this training programs are from ISI Kolkata, IIIT Allahabad, and BHU

Eligibility and Mode of Selection
The training program is open to research scholars and faculty members. A few PG students may be admitted if seats remain vacant. The organizing committee will select the candidates on a first come first serve basis.
Registration Process
The candidate must fill out the attached form and submit it to the office of DSTCIMS. The workshop has no registration cost, and the maximum number of applicants is fixed at thirty. Hundred percent attendance is compulsory in the workshop to secure a participation certificate. Therefore participants are requested to take proper leave from their regular duty. Deadline of registration is January 27, 2024 till 05:00 PM.
Accommodation and Food
This program will be organized for local participants. Therefore, the organizers will not provide accommodation and food to participants. Only tea and snacks will be provided in the short breaks.
