Renew your Aadhaar Card Older than 10 years (Free till 14th Sept 2024)

Aadhaar Card Update Last Date

The final date for updating Aadhaar cards at no cost on the myAadhaar portal is September 14, 2024. Beyond this date, there will be a fee for updating your Aadhaar card with proof of identity and address documents. The UIDAI initially provided this online update service for free until March 14, 2024, which was subsequently extended to June 14, 2024, and then further extended to September 14, 2024. Thus, the deadline for Aadhaar card updates without charge is now September 14, 2024.

Who Needs to Update Their Aadhaar Card?

If you have changed your address, name, or mobile number, or if your biometric details (such as iris scans, fingerprints, or facial photos) have significantly changed, you should update your Aadhaar card. Not updating your Aadhaar can result in difficulties accessing government services, banking facilities, and other services linked to Aadhaar. Ensuring that your details are current and accurate is essential.

Fee for Updating the Aadhaar Card

Updating your Aadhaar card online through the myAadhaar portal is free until September 14, 2024. After this date, there will be a fee of Rs. 25 for online updates. For offline updates at physical Aadhaar centers, a fee of Rs. 50 applies.

How to Update Your Aadhaar Card Before the Deadline

You can update proof of identity and proof of address online. However, changes to your name, biometric details (iris scans, fingerprints, facial photographs), and other updates must be completed offline at an Aadhaar Enrollment Center or Aadhaar Sewa Kendra.

Updating Aadhaar Card Online

Go to the UIDAI website (Click Here to visit).
Log in using your Aadhaar number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Click on the ‘Document Update’ option and select the details you wish to update (Proof of Identity or Proof of Address).
Upload the necessary documents.
Submit your update request and make a note of the Update Request Number (URN) for tracking purposes.

Updating Aadhaar Card at an Aadhaar Enrollment Center/Aadhaar Sewa Kendra

Find the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center or Aadhaar Sewa Kendra using the UIDAI locator tool.
Bring original copies of the documents you need to update.
Complete the Aadhaar update form available at the center.
Provide your biometric data (if required) and submit the form along with the documents.
Pay the applicable fee and collect the acknowledgment slip with the Update Request Number (URN)

Concept Notes
Research methodological training is required to carry out scientific and systematic investigations of an undertaken problem in light of science and art. On the other hand, philosophical basis of social sciences research develops in different subjects is becoming complex and hastily evolving day by day. And, therefore theoretical framework and techniques of social sciences research are becoming more multi-disciplinary from research point of view. At this juncture, understanding and training of methodological views point becomes essentially challenging to young researchers, academicians, policy makers and academic think-tank. Moreover, from the stage of research problem to the ultimate reporting and publication of the findings, there are several aspects in which a good researcher has to refine and hones their skills time to time. To attain a competitive edge and cognitive status, social science research needs to focus on linking classroom teaching with R&D in todays globalized world. Therefore, the ICSSR funds and sponsors Research Methodology Programmes in Universities and Research Institutes. This research methodology course is designed to support the scholars of professional education to produce quality of research work and playing a more regular and effective role in policymaking. It also pays special attention to skills the gaps on data analysis and publication ethics.
With this background, Department of Geography (Srinagar Campus), Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University, intends to conduct 10-days national level workshop on Research Methodology Course for social scientists to enhance the ability of researchers in
understanding of tenets of research and data collection method, handling and processing the large-scale data and its analysis and disseminating the final outcomes.

Eligibility:
The workshop has been designed for researchers involved in social science research, especially M.Phil / PhD scholars and Post-Doctoral Fellows from the Indian academia. The preferences will be given to rural background and marginalized communities scholars.

Intake:
There should be at least thirty (30) participants from social science disciplines of which ten
(10) from the city, ten (10) from the state and ten (10) from outside the state.

Registration Fee:
The Research Methodology Course is fully sponsored by ICSSR, New Delhi, hence, no fee will be charged from the participants.
Accommodation and Travel Allowances:
Accommodation will be provided to the outstation participants only.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Refreshments for all participants (only thirty) will be served.
Travel allowances for the shortest distance will be reimbursed to the outstation participants only as per the ICSSR guidelines (Normal Sleeper Class fare) and will be subject to the production of original tickets.
No local conveyance would be reimbursed.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Each submitted manuscript will receive a unique paper id. The manuscript should contribute original research ideas, developmental ideas, analysis, findings, results, etc. The manuscript should not have been published in any journals/magazines or conference proceedings and not under review in any of them. Further the manuscript should contain the name of the corresponding author with e-mail id and affiliation of all authors. The incomplete manuscripts will be summarily rejected during the screening itself. The manuscripts will be initially screened to check for the conference scope, similarity and originality. All the submitted manuscripts will be sent for technical peer review process and the corresponding author will be notified the outcome of the review process. ICAETM adopts double blind review process. Every manuscript will be reviewed by at-least two independent peer reviewers. Corresponding authors will be notified the outcome of the review process. Revised version of the paper (if requested) should be submitted to the conference within fifteen days from the date of revision notification. Papers which have been revised according to the reviewer feedbacks only will be accepted by the Technical Program Committee and invited for the presentation.

LETTER OF INVITATION – Authors of the accepted papers shall request a “Letter of invitation” through email with the details such as name, affiliation, and a valid email address, paper ID, title and list of authors. NOTES – Confirmation Email will be sent once you complete your registration. That mail can be kept as a proof of the payment received. However, the receipt for the payment will be provided during the conference on request. Please report the registration desk for the receipt. Only Cash (INR) will be accepted at the registration desk. REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY – 50% of registration fee can be refunded for cancellation made in writing and received by the ICAETM 2024 Secretariat on or before 15, June 2024. About the MMTTC
The Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) has been established at NIT Warangal under the scheme “Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Program (MMTTP)”. Under this Scheme, a separate building has been built exclusively for the MMTTC activities, with the state-of-art training facilities and training halls to train the faculty in various theme areas of Science and Technology, humanities and social sciences, linguistics and communication skills, Pedagogy, Outcome-based Education, ICT , etc. among others. One of the important objectives of the Centre is to conduct training programmes for the newly inducted and in-service faculty in the disciplines of Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, and Humanities in higher Education. Other activities of the MMTTC include offering on- line courses, curriculum design, carrying out research in educational technology and pedagogy and integrating with ICT into teaching-learning process. The MMTTC at NIT Warangal has been conducting various programs in online and offline modes following the PMMMNMTT Guidelines and UGC Guidelines.

Objectives of the Faculty Induction Programme (Online):
 To sensitize and motivate the faculty in higher Education to adopt learner-centred pedagogical practices, ICT integrated learning approaches and using different assessment Methods and tools.
 To implement curriculum reforms in the context of inter- disciplinary, multi-disciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches to knowledge.
 To adopt flexible evaluation processes in order to evaluate multiple skills and competencies of students.
 To promote four possible types of faculty development: personal (inter personal skills, career development, and life planning issues); instructional (course design and development, instructional technology); organizational (ways to improve the institutional environment to support effective teaching); and professional (ways to support faculty members so that they fulfil their multiple roles of teaching, research and outreach).
 To promote academic excellence, teaching innovation, research capabilities and leadership skills.
 To promote the professional capability and performance of teachers to deliver effective and quality teaching to ensure quality learning among the students.

During the current academic year 2024-2025, the Faculty Induction Programme is proposed to be organized during 03-09-2024 to 03-10-2024, through ONLINE mode. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 80, and the selection will be based on the priority of ‘first-come-first-serve’.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Research Scholars currently pursuing their Ph.D. in social science disciplines from recognized Universities/Institutes across India are eligible to apply.

INTAKE

A maximum of 30 participants shall be shortlisted 10 from local, 10 from within the state and 10 from rest of India.

REGISTRATION FEES

There is NO registration fee for the selected participants. Attendance for all the session is mandatory or otherwise certificate shall not be issued.

ACCOMODATION AND TRAVEL ALLOWANCE

Accommodation arrangements shall be made for outstation participants. Travel costs of participants shall be reimbursed only for second class/sleeper class/bus fare on the production of original tickets.

Candidates would be eligible to receive a certificate up on achieving at least 70% cumulative weightage in the following aspects in the weightage mentioned. Attendance – minimum 80% attendance is mandatory. 100 & attendance – (individual)- weightage 10%. 3-4 Page Article Summary/per Team – (Team & Individual) – – weightage 10%.Project/ Live industry problem solving – (Team & Individual)- weightage 40%. OBJECTIVES The overall aim of the proposed course would be to hone the research skills of young, aspiring students to undertake high quality research and publications. The specific objectives of the course are

To equip scholars with research methodology essentials for pursuing research degrees (Doctor of Philosophy, Masters in Philosophy) in Social Sciences.
To enable the participants, define research problem, developing an approach to research problem and selection of suitable research design.
To impart capabilities for formulation and testing of hypothesis based on the nature of research.
To become familiar with field work and collection of quantitative data.
To comprehend appropriateness of statistical software packages for analyzing research data.
To learn statistical techniques and interpretation of statistical output.

This course will open vistas of knowledge on the methodological basis of research and strategies to cope with future challenges. The mission of the course is to impart research skills to budding research scholars (M.Phil./Ph.D/PDF scholars) and enhance the quality of research. This course will contribute to the effective use of emerging technologies and establish a firm foundation for the overall development of high quality research. The training course will predominantly follow the Research Methodology syllabus designed by the ICSSR, New Delhi.
