About the Programme
In the Intellectual realm of academia, the ability to write clearly and publish research effectively is essential for career advancement and contributing to the body of knowledge in various fields. This programme has been meticulously designed to empower early-career faculty members in the social sciences with the knowledge and tools necessary to elevate their research endeavors. This programme seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of how to seamlessly integrate theoretical constructs into their research methodologies and subsequently analyze data with precision and provide participants with guidelines on how to write clear and concise research articles that adhere to the standards of academic publishing. The mission of the course is to impart research skills and improve the quality of research by the existing researchers. The course is designed to provide an in-depth knowledge on research methods, ethical considerations in publishing research, such as plagiarism, conflicts of interest, and authorship.

Eligibility criteria for participants
All those who are serving as a Lecturer / Assistant Professor / Young Faculty in the field of Social Sciences in a UGC-recognized Indian University / Deemed University / College / Institute of National Importance and ICSSR Research Institutes engaged in or planning to engage in economic and social science research will be eligible to apply for the course. The maximum number of participants is limited to 30.

Interested faculty members can apply through the following link by submitting the scanned copy of filled-in registration form duly signed by the head of the institution on or before 12th October, 2024. Candidates who have already attended a similar program need not apply. Participants are required to bring their Laptop for practical sessions.
*Applications received after the due date shall not be considered.
Registration Fee
There is no registration fee for the selected participants.
Accommodation & Travel Allowance
Accommodation will be provided to the outstation participants only. Travel allowance by shortest distance (train fare or bus fare only) will be reimbursed to the outstation participants, as per the ICSSR guidelines.
