Introduction to the Programme

The Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), Pune is organising a ten-day research methodology course sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). Scheduled to take place from 17 to 26 November 2026, the programme is specifically designed to address the methodological challenges posed by the integration of artificial intelligence into social science research. It aims to help research scholars transition from traditional survey methods to advanced AI-assisted approaches.

With a limited intake of thirty scholars, the programme provides an intensive learning environment focusing on sound research design, data ethics, and interdisciplinary inquiry. Given SIIB's institutional expertise, special emphasis will be laid on applying AI techniques to trade data, financial text, and cross-border datasets.
