AICTE-ISTE Induction/Refresher Programme On Design of Sensor Based Systems and Exploration of IPR
28-01-2022 To 03-02-2022 (Online Mode)
Objectives
This program focuses on the design of sensor-based systems along with the knowledge exploration towards IPR and patentability of a product. Electronic systems are a necessity in most engineering products. Regardless of the technology involved, the analysis and design of sensor-based systems play a vital role. Most smart electronics and embedded systems have encompassed sensors. Understanding how to design and use sensors typically requires interdisciplinary knowledge of several topics. One such is how to develop a design mind set for solving application-oriented problems through a variety of case studies. In the current scenario, patent and Intellectual property rights are gaining momentum in order to protect one’s own innovative ideas and products. There is a need to focus on the patentability analysis of a product.

Center for Faculty Development Anna University Chennai is organizing AICTE-AU Sponsored Short Term Training Program on Compiler Design Scheduled from 19th Jan to 25th Jan 2022
OBJCTIVES
This AICTE-AU Short Term Training Program is intended to provide opportunity for teachers employed in AICTE approved Institutions for teaching and upgrading their knowledge in the area of Compiler Engineering. This program will be useful for those who are involved in teaching Compiler Design at UG / PG level. This will also provide
a basic platform for a faculty who are willing to carry out research in Theoretical computer Science. The fundamental concepts of these mechanisms will be introduced. However, our main focus will be on Compiler Design based on the B.Tech(IT) syllabus of Anna University.
A compiler is a special program that processes statements written in a particular programming language and turns them into machine language or “code” that a computer’s processor uses. Study of Compilers benefit tremendously from careful analysis of a problem and from tools for performing that analysis. Study of Compilers enable the
programmers to design and implement their own domain specific language. It gives a good feeling for how larger programs can be broken down and solved in a manner that is not adhoc. Important topics to be covered in Compiler Design through this STTP is specified below:
Eligibility
Faculty of IT, CSE, and MCA departments, who have some basic knowledge in IT can apply. Young faculty members from affiliated engineering colleges coming under the purview of Anna University, Chennai will be given preference.
