AICTE Sponsored Online STTP on IoT & Machine Learning

AICTE Sponsored Six Day Online SHORT TERM TRAINING PROGRAM on Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine Learning

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad, is conducting an AICTE Sponsored Six Day Online SHORT TERM TRAINING PROGRAM on Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine Learning from 5th to 10th April, 2021

The Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine Learning are among the promising and fastest growing technologies in current scenario. The IoT is a giant network of connected devices equipped with sensors/actuators communicating with each other. Machine learning being the sub field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), gives computers the ability to learn without being explicitly programmed.

While IoT has the potential to make things smarter, Machine Learning techniques can make use of massive amount of data generated by billions of  IoT  devices  to  identify  patterns  and  builds  models  to  automate decision-making processes based on data inputs. This STTP is designed and tailored to give the participants a very good exposure of their recent advancements, potential research areas and applications.

Topics Expected to Cover:

DAY 1: Introduction   to IoT, Security  Issues  in IoT Setups and IoT Applications.

DAY 2: IoT Product  Design  & Development  and  applications of IoT.

DAY 3: Hands-on sessions on IoT.

DAY 4: Introduction   to  Machine  Learning  and AI enabled Wireless

Communication

DAY 5: Introduction to Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Optimization in  acoustic  signal  processing  using applied  machine  learning and 2D Convolutional Neural Networks for Image Processing.

DAY 6: Hands-on   2D  Convolutional   Neural   Networks   for   Image Classification  using  Python  and  Applications  of Machine Learning and Safety analysis of critical system using Machine Learning.

The outcome of the workshop is expected to be as follows

  • After attending the workshop, participants will be able to:
  • Understand fundamental architecture and model of IoT.
  • Describe various IoT standards and protocols.
  • Articulate communication model utilized in IoT.
  • Debate about sensors, connectivity and end to end perspective of IoT.
  • Correlate integration of  Machine  learning  and  IoT  that  reduces
  • human efforts and provide efficient solutions for safety and security.
  • Test IoT features in real time environment of computation centric applications.
