ONE WEEK AICTE TRAINING & LEARNING (ATAL) ACADEMY FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (FDP) ON AI-EMBEDDED PRECISION FARMING IN AGRITECH AND DIGITAL FARMING SOLUTIONS
Kongu Arts and Science College (Autonomous) is organizing a one-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) focused on AI-Embedded Precision Farming in Agritech and Digital Farming Solutions. This program is sponsored by the AICTE – Training & Learning (ATAL) Academy and organized by the Department of Management.

- FDP Dates: The program will run from August 25, 2025, to August 30, 2025.
- Location: Kongu Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Nanjanapuram, Erode, Tamil Nadu – 638107.
- Registration Deadline: The last date for registration is August 11, 2025.
- Intimation to Participants: Participants will be intimated by August 16, 2025.
- Confirmation by Participants: Confirmation from participants is due by August 20, 2025.
- Fees: This ATAL FDP is free of charge, meaning no fee will be collected from any participant.

Eligibility and Application Process:
- Who can participate? Faculty members, Ph.D. scholars, and PG students from AICTE-affiliated educational Institutions/Universities are eligible.
- Required Documents: All participants must upload their Identity Card and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their approving authority when registering.

Certification: A certificate will be issued to all participants who physically attend the program with a minimum of 90% attendance. The certificate will be auto-generated and available for download from the ATAL portal after the FDP’s completion.

- Day 2 (Aug 26): Entrepreneurship in AgriTech: Launching and Scaling Startups (Thiru.P.K.Deivasigamani) and Digital Farming Solutions and Innovation Opportunities (Mr. P.S.Kannan).
- Day 3 (Aug 27): Collaborative Ecosystem and Partnerships in AgriTech (Dr S. Baskaran) and Funding, Investment, and Financial Models in AgriTech (Dr. S. Balamurugan).
- Day 4 (Aug 28): AI and Sustainability: Creating a Green and Profitable Business (Dr. V. Abirami) and AI in Agricultural Supply Chain and Market Intelligence (Dr. T. Venkatesan).
- Day 5 (Aug 29): Includes an Industrial Visit and a session on Global Market Trends and International Opportunities for AgriTech Startups (Dr.P.Thirumoorthy).
- Day 6 (Aug 30): Covers Future Trends, Challenges, and Innovation in AI-Embedded AgriTech (Dr. Viswanathan), followed by an Article Summary, MCQ & Reflection Journal, and Valedictory session.
- Hands-on training/labs are scheduled daily.
